Jyväskylän kesäyliopisto

Intensive summer course in Finnish language and culture

The course includes organized free time activities (some of them liable to charge). Our objective is that you get to know the Finnish way of life and Finnish people in different ways in a natural environment. Popular social events during the previous summers have been for example a tour and visits to see the attractions of the city

  • a cruise on the beautiful Lake Päijänne
  • open-air dances
  • sauna evenings
  • movies
  • canoeing trips
  • summer theatre
  • Finnish sports events
  • a trip to another location in Finland

A welcome get-together and a farewell party for all the participants will also be arranged.

Check the latest videos 1, 2, from the course 2007.
