Lovely to see you’ve found our course, and are interested in learning Finnish at the Summer University of Jyväskylä!

Registration period: November 21st 2022 to June 2023.

Remember that the registration is binding, so only make the registration after you are sure to make it on the course. Terms of cancellation.
After receiving your form, we will reserve a place for you on the course and send you a confirmation email. First info letter is sent to the participants in June.

The course fee
695 €/ participant (early bird price 645 € available until March 31st)
Price includes teaching and study materials, as well as a part of free time programme. N.B.! Price does not include accomodation!

Participants
The Intensive course participants are adults, who come to the course voluntarily and who pay for the course themselves. We take this matter very seriously and offer the best possible tuition for them.

In order to register for the course you must be over 17 years old. No prior skills or experience with Finnish language is required. By dividing our students into groups based on their level of language skills we ensure that you receive teaching based on your skill level and goals. Please notice that in the beginner groups we use English as a supporting language for teaching. Therefore a sufficient level of understanding basic English is required to join the course.

Our student body is comprised of a variety of people interested in Finnish language and culture. They are united in their strong motivation to learn Finnish and get to know Finnish culture, which creates an excellent learning atmosphere and sense of togetherness on the course. Studying in the Intensive Summer Course is a fantastic opportunity to form new friendships with people who share similar interests in Finland, Finnish language and culture.
